About Kimberley, Massage Therapist Extraordinaire
In 2005, I completed my massage therapy training with Clare Maxwell-Hudson, one of the most respected authorities on massage alive today, who pioneered its use in clinical settings. Since then, I have worked in hospitals across London, giving me considerable experience of working with people who are both acutely and chronically unwell.
Today, I split my time between my private practice in London Bridge, where I treat the 'worried well' (stressed-out Londoners and those from further afield) and the NHS, where I specialise in working with people who have cancer.
I have a special interest in working with people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and those who have developed touch aversion as a result of their experiences. I am the only massage therapist in the country to be listed on the UK Register of Trauma Specialists.
Having had a successful career in business development, I understand how the pressures of corporate life can impact on well-being and this guides my massage therapy work with busy professionals.
